Job summary

El Dorado County Office of Education in Placerville, CA is seeking a part-time Job Coach - Special Services to support the Workability program and supervise activities, while assisting with instructional materials and student supervision.

This role is 5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 10 months/year (197 days). The pay range is $22.02–$28.66 per hour, with initial placement at the first step in the range. Applicants must meet the listed requirements and provide requested documents.

Qualifications

• Experience: Successful interaction with children in a classroom or other structured setting, preferably students with disabilities.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent. A.A. degree is preferable, but will not be considered for preferential treatment in scoring.
• DMV Printout: Please provide your driving record.
• Letter of Introduction.
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 current letters within the last 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising classroom, playground, and community activities of students.

The Job Coach class in the Workability program is distinguished by increased responsibilities and additional duties inherent in assisting with supervising students placed in job assignments throughout the community.
