Job summary

Clarity Care Inc in Wisconsin seeks a compassionate Job Coach to support clients at employment sites and help them achieve independence and meaningful work. You will coach essential workplace skills, document progress, and adapt to client needs while promoting respect and empowerment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid WI driver's license, and background checks; weekend premiums and competitive benefits are offered to dedicated caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid WI driver’s license and meet driving standards; provide proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including DOJ/criminal record checks.
• Knowledge of crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary.
• Experience with people who have physical and mental disabilities; experience with severe mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and coach, helping clients build problem-solving and independent living skills.
• Learn each client’s needs and support them in meeting goals in their employment setting.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance individually and in group sessions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to client/employer needs.
• Encourage clients to pursue goals through self-direction and effective decision-making.
• Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.
