Clarity Care Inc. seeks dedicated Job Coaches to support individuals with varying abilities in employment settings within the community.

You will coach, train, and guide clients toward independent living and success at work, acting as a positive role model and facilitator of problem-solving and decision-making. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, and the ability to pass caregiver background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent required.
• Experience with individuals with physical/mental disabilities a plus.
• Must possess a valid WI driver’s license and auto insurance proof.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and coach for clients.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance in sessions (group and one-on-one).
• Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.
• Support clients in meeting goals and developing independent living skills.

This supportis individualized and centered around work-related goals that focus on helping the consumer obtain the maximum level ofindependence within their job. The Job Coach must be a skilled communicator, empathetic listener, and excellent problem solver,with the ability to help clients achieve their desired goals. They carry out responsibilities in the following functionalareas: client rights, job coaching and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a positive role model and coach, helping clients build problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and independent living skills.Learn each client’s needs and support them in meeting goals in their employment setting. Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance individually and in group sessions.Ability to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the clients and employers.Teach and encourage clients to pursue their hopes, goals, and objectives through self-direction and effective decision-making.Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.RequirementsHigh school diploma/equivalent and/or relevant work or life experience.Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, ability to meet agency driving standards, and proof of auto insurance.Ability to pass required Wisconsin Caregiver Background Checks and any applicable out-of-state checks.Reliable phone with voicemail and access to email.Education/QualificationsMust possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must possess a valid WI driver’s license, and ability to meet agency driving standards. Must provide proof of autoinsurance.Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks,and/or that of previous states of residence.Knowledge of and ability to intervene appropriately in crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary.Experience working with people who have physical and mental disabilities.
