• Build a support network between the individual and community members
• Communicate the individual’s progress to the employer, families, and residential staff
• Accurately complete all documentation
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections or inquiries

Job description

We are now hiring a Job Coach in Maryville, TN. The Job Coach uses best practices and technology within a community-based employment setting. The Job Coach will supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities on how to acquire the skills needed to perform specific tasks, work routines, and personal life activities that are critical to successful employment. This role will also work hours in the various residential locations.

Starting Pay is $16.00 /per hour

• Teach individuals independent job skills and requirements utilizing job task analysis, job-specific supports, including assistive technology and personal assistance
• Work side-by-side with individuals at the job site, analyzing the job requirements and breaking them into manageable components that can be taught to the individual
• Build a support network between the individual and community members
• Communicate the individual’s progress to the employer and support people, including family, residential staff, and other professionals
• Accurately complete all documentation
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
• Employee must cooperate with licensing and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
