Job summary

Primus Health in Milford Mill, MD is seeking a part-time Job Coach to provide training and support to individuals in the program. The role is in-person with scheduled days Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 8am to 4pm, and pays hourly.

You will deliver on-the-job training, offer job readiness and social skills coaching, document progress, and develop employment plans. Strong communication, prior job coaching experience, valid MD driver's license, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a job coach.
• Experience in developing employment plans.
• Valid MD driver's license and clean driving record.
• Successful clearance of state and/or federal background checks.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid certification on all DDA mandated trainings including CMT, CPR/First Aid and bloodborne pathogens.
• Experience in working with people with disabilities.
• Available Monday, Thursdays and Fridays.
• Experience in employment support services or community development programs will be an added advantage.
• Ability to operate successfully in a team environment.
• Ability to lift, push or carry up to 35 lbs; and can climb, kneel, run and crouch as needed.
