Job summary

CVTC Visalia is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in acquiring work skills and maintaining employment in the community. The role delivers tailored support at participant sites and focuses on independence and job success.

The position requires in-person work, CPR/First Aid, crisis intervention training, and adherence to safety standards. Must have a California driver’s license and be willing to travel locally up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Clear and timely communication with others.

• Basic math concepts including addition, subtraction, multiplication and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Model appropriate employment skills and uphold work standards.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback; document results.
• Maintain safe, organized work environment and complete program paperwork.
• Provide supervision and training activities; coordinate with co-workers and agencies.
• Utilize assessments and data to inform individualized plans.
• Communicate with participants, staff, and external professionals about services.
