Job summary

Verigreen Inc is seeking an Employment Coach to assist clients in developing workplace skills across various settings. You will collaborate with Employment Specialists, coach clients on performance, and ensure they are prepared for work with proper attire and punctuality.

You will tailor instruction to learning styles, plan coaching strategies for multiple employees, and track progress for ongoing development, including support for employees with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Ability to stay organized with multiple employees.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Upbeat, motivational attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in employment settings to develop workplace skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist their clients in various employment settings to develop their workplace skills.


• They coordinate with Employment specialists to identify workplace performance concerns, meet with clients to review performance, and attempt to remedy any concerns, provide employment assistance, monitor client’s continued improvement and provide coaching when necessary, and provide feedback to Employment Specialists.


• Ensuring their client is aware of job duties; making sure the client is prepared for the job by making sure they have the proper attire and that clients get to work on time; adapting the kind and amount of instruction to the client’s learning style; and helping the client develop plans for managing, saving, or spending their earnings.


• Plan and implement a job coaching strategy with multiple employees


• Assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of employees


• Discover what motivates employees and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace


• Present skills to aid people in job searches


• Assist employees with disabilities in learning and excelling in their job functions


• Create and update records and reports on progress
