Job summary

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Full-Time Job Coach in The Dalles, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they gain confidence and succeed in competitive employment throughout the community.

No previous Job Coach experience is required; if you're dependable, enjoy working with people, and want a career with purpose, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, education, coaching, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with the ability to become an approved company driver
• Ability to pass a national background check
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
• Willingness to travel throughout Hood River and Wasco counties

• Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and professional workplace habits
• Supporting positive communication with supervisors and coworkers

• Collaborating with employers, support teams, and coworkers to help individuals achieve long-term employment success
