Job description

Intepros’s valued client in Grapevine, TX is hiring a Job Captain to manage internal and external teams and projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate regularly with counterparts in Design, Engineering, and other groups.
  • Manage multiple project teams and outside consultants.
  • Assist the Design Team in creating and evaluating design initiatives, including new options, styles, and details.
  • Assist the Architectural Operations team with new technology project discovery and design phases.
  • Lead, engage, and interact with all team members, sharing experiences, issues, resolutions, and best practices.
  • Identify roadblocks, provide suggestions, and encourage continuous improvement.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards for new construction documents, lot specifics, and revisions.
  • Read and understand construction codes.
  • Collect, interpret, and manage relevant project information.
  • Collaborate with other project stakeholders and adhere to workflow criteria.
  • Follow established standards and development procedures and exercise independent judgment.
  • Maintain data management practices.
  • Provide limited business analysis support to senior leadership for decision‑making.
  • Assist in creation and governance of standards and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent vocational/technical certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
  • Architectural and construction knowledge.
  • Project and people management experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including at least 2 years of people or project management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture.
  • Experience with SketchUp or BIM360.
  • Residential project experience.

Work Arrangement

Must be in the office 5 days a week. After 2‑3 months, consideration will be given to allow 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
