Job summary

Dream Nashville is seeking a friendly Barista to join our Food & Beverage team in Nashville, TN. You will greet guests, prepare beverages and light menu items, and ensure fast, accurate service in a high-volume environment.

Requirements include 1–2 years of barista knowledge and prior hospitality experience. You will work as part of a cooperative team, maintain a clean workstation, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of barista knowledge.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages using an industrial espresso machine.
• Handle cash transactions according to the property’s cash handling policy.
• Have a deep knowledge about the hotel and local area.
• Anticipate customer needs when assisting all guests with their orders to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow all company policies and procedures in regards to cash handling, food and beverage preparation, safety and daily operation of the restaurant.
• Prepare all orders according to company standards while meeting or exceeding speed of service and quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized guest environment as well as a clean and organized workspace.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Ensure knowledge of menu.
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate POS system.
• All other tasks and duties as assigned.

The Barista is responsible for honoring each and every guest by providing excellent customer service and a high quality product. The Barista will work closely with the hotel’s Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing the guest’s experience along with having a high attention to detail and a strong team approach.
