Job summary

DoubleTree Nashville by Hilton Nashville Downtown is seeking a Barista to craft beverages and provide warm, memorable guest service in the hotel coffee shop.

You will handle beverage prep, cash transactions, and daily shop organization while maintaining cleanliness and inventory. A high school diploma and Food Handlers Certification are required, with at least 1 year of coffee shop experience preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Offer our guests unparalleled service with warmth and thoughtfulness

• Maintain daily organization of the coffee shop, ensuring all products are readily accessible
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas

Physical Demands:

• Ability to kneel, stoop, pull, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk in confined space for entire shift
• Manual dexterity to use and operate food and beverage equipment

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year Coffee Shop Attendant experience required
• Food Handlers Certification required
