Job summary

Dream Nashville is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional guest service and high-quality beverages as part of the Food & Beverage team. You will work with attention to detail and a strong team approach to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities include crafting coffee and espresso drinks, handling POS orders, and maintaining cleanliness while supporting a fast-paced, guest-centric operation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of barista knowledge.
• Experience in a high volume restaurant is a must.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Deep knowledge about the hotel and local area.
• Handle cash transactions per cash handling policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, latte, espresso, teas) using an industrial espresso machine.
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate POS system.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized guest environment and workspace.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to cash handling, food and beverage preparation, safety and daily operation.
• All other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Prepare and serve beverages (coffee, latte, espresso, teas) using an industrial espresso machine
• Handle cash transactions in accordance with the property’s cash handling policy
• Have a deep knowledge about the hotel and local area
• Anticipate customer needs when assisting all guests with their orders to ensure a positive experience
• Follow all company policies and procedures in regards to cash handling, food and beverage preparation, safety and daily operation of the restaurant
• Prepare all orders according to company standards while meeting or exceeding speed of service and quality expectations
• Maintain a clean and organized guest environment as well as a clean and organized workspace
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu
• Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate POS system
• All other tasks and duties as assigned
• 1-2 years of barista knowledge
• Previous hospitality experience preferred
