Job summary

The Salvation Army Tacoma Corps is seeking a JMFL Program Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for the Jarvie Memorial Family Lodge shelter. This role oversees daily operations, staff scheduling, program implementation, and facility coordination in alignment with TSA policies.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, multiple years of staff supervision experience, and strong skills in trauma-informed care, crisis management, and cross-team

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work, business management, human services, organizational leadership, or comparable degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of staff supervision and support.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sheltering or similar client-facing social service roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of all JMFL shelter operations, including case management and client services.
• Monitor program performance, reporting, and outcome tracking with leadership and admin staff.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate shelter staff, including coordination with temp agency management as needed.
• Ensure training in partnership with other departments and adhere to Salvation Army policies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, licensing, grants, audits, and contractual obligations.
