The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Tacoma, WA seeks a JMFL Kitchen Coordinator to oversee daily food services for residents at Jarvie Memorial Family Lodge. You will plan menus, manage inventory, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with program staff to deliver nutritious meals seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience in commercial/institutional food service.
• Experience using donated food inventory and minimizing waste preferred.
• Ability to plan menus, manage inventory, and purchase supplies.
• Strong attention to food safety, sanitation, and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with teams and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly menus and plan meals for residents.
• Oversee kitchen operations, sanitation, and meal service.
• Manage inventory and ordering in coordination with fiscal staff.
• Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and safety compliance.
• Maintain records, logs, and documentation related to kitchen operations.
