Job summary

UFC GYM in Wayne, NJ seeks a passionate BJJ program lead to manage and grow the club's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu offerings. You will coordinate youth and adult programs, track classes, and advise on ongoing improvements while promoting private lessons and in-house events.

This role includes organizing belt promotions, attending team meetings, and collaborating with fellow instructors to maintain program integrity and high standards of coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Purple belt or higher in BJJ.
• BJJ Belt Certificate.
• BJJ lineage verification.
• Grappling tournament record (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with the BJJ program at the club location.
• Coordinate UFC GYM BJJ Youth and Adult programs.
• Track BJJ Program/classes and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Assist with selling BJJ small group Private lessons or 1 on 1 sessions.
• Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ in house events, tournaments and seminars.
• Organize belt promotions ensuring instructors follow stripe and belt system.
• Issue stripes to students that qualify and recommend students ready to test.
• Attend monthly meetings and conference calls.
• Collaborate with other UFC GYM BJJ instructors to maintain program integrity.
