Job summary

UFC GYM in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a dedicated BJJ program coordinator/instructor to manage our UFC GYM BJJ offerings on site. You will work with a team to grow competitive classes and outreach.

Coordinate youth and adult programs, organize events, promote belt promotions, and ensure consistency across instructors. Requires Purple belt or higher and a valid BJJ Belt Certificate; we offer competitive pay, health benefits, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Purple belt or higher.
• BJJ Belt Certificate required.
• Lineage verification for BJJ background.
• Grappling tournament experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with the BJJ program at the club location.
• Coordinate UFC GYM BJJ Youth and Adult programs.
• Track BJJ Program/classes and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.
• Assist with selling BJJ small group Private lessons and/or 1 on 1 sessions.
• Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ in house events, tournaments and seminars.
• Organize and promote UFC GYM BJJ belt promotions ensuring instructors follow the stripe and belt system.
• Issue stripes to students that qualify and recommend students ready to test.
• Attend monthly meetings and conference calls.
• Collaborate with other UFC GYM BJJ instructors to maintain program integrity.
