SEI Wealth Platform is seeking a Software Engineer II to support and enhance the Atlassian Jira ecosystem within an Agile team. You will troubleshoot complex issues, support platform integrations, and maintain Jira configurations that enable effective software delivery.

Responsibilities include developing code, implementing processes, and providing technical support to project teams. The role emphasizes Jira administration, cloud-native design, and collaboration across DevOps and operations.

Formación

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or another related field or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years prior work experience with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation
• Solid software development and programming skills with understanding of design patterns and best practices
• Web applications with Java, JavaScript, and HTML; Spring MVC, Angular/React, TypeScript a plus
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting Atlassian Jira in an enterprise environment, including workflow configuration, permissions management, dashboards/reports, automation, troubleshooting, and platform maintenance
• Experience designing and developing Cloud Native applications, microservices using REST/JSON, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java; UI web development framework experience
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), NoSQL/persistence (MongoDB, Snowflake) and ORM tools; DevOps toolsets (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven)

Responsabilidades

• Develop code following Agile process and business requirements
• Produce and test high-quality code meeting deadlines and quality gates
• Analyze and resolve issues from testing and pre-production
• Provide technical support to project team members
• Collaborate with architects and leads on technical and schedule issues
• Suggest process improvements for estimating, development and testing
• Provide Jira platform technical support
• Troubleshoot Jira issues and platform performance
• Support Jira upgrades, configurations, testing and deployments
• Develop and maintain Jira automations, scripts, dashboards, and integrations
• Collaborate with DevOps and operations to integrate Jira with source control, CI/CD, monitoring
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge bases related to Jira administration
