Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking registered nurses for PRN and contract nursing roles across Med/Surg, Neuro, ICU, and IMC/Stepdown within the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Qualifications

• Must have a current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or be licensed in a compact state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and coordinating care by applying nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives on quality, safety, and excellence in care.
• Participate in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, and operational) that support the specialty area.
• Implement initiatives in the specialty area as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
• Foster a clinical environment of service excellence.

Responsibilities

Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, and operational) that supports, protects, and promotes area of specialty.

Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.

Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.

Qualifications

Must have:

• 2 years of experience in nursing experience, 1 year in nursing specialty
