Job summary

SSP America is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee multiple restaurant concepts at JFK Terminal 4. You will lead a team of Restaurant General Managers, coach leaders, and drive strong financial performance in a high-volume airport setting.

You will report to the onsite Director of Operations and focus on developing leaders, maintaining brand standards, and turning operational excellence into measurable results across guest experience, labor, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in restaurant/foodservice management
• 5+ years as Restaurant General Manager in full-service settings
• Prior multi-unit leadership experience preferred
• Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable
• Expert-level P&L knowledge and financial acumen
• Comfort leading in high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Proficient in POS systems and MS Office
• Airport security requirements ability

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Restaurant General Managers across multiple brands and concepts
• Hold GMs accountable for execution, results, and consistency
• Teach and mentor best practices in operations, finance, and people leadership
• Drive performance in food quality, guest experience, labor, and controllables
• Partner with Director of Operations to align priorities and execute strategy
• Ensure reporting, systems, processes are followed
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and GM P&L management
• Identify gaps, address underperformance, and celebrate wins
