Position Summary

Serve as the primary supervisor for the entire location. Maximize the financial performance of the store; achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing, training, and motivating the sales team. Create an emotional connection between Fred Meyer Jewelers and customers through engagement and communication during every shopping occasion in store and online. All associates are expected to perform tasks safely, adhering to corporate policies and legal requirements. Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer Jewelers policies and organizational structure
• Minimum 2 years management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, First Place, Act, and internet systems
• Experience with project teams

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, plus 6 months as an assistant manager
• Or 2 years retail jewelry experience or relevant education and experience
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a drug test and maintain confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with industry terms
• Valid driver’s license and completion of Diamond Council of America courses within one year of hire

Essential Job Functions

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver excellent customer service
• Manage store sales team to meet growth and sales targets
• Maintain store profitability through sales, shrink, and expense control
• Recruit, onboard, and develop store staff
• Achieve sales targets related to credit, protection plans, and events
• Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews
• Oversee store operations, inventory, merchandising, and scheduling
• Ensure proper service delivery and update of store data
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Partner with the host store in a mall setting and be flexible with shifts and travel
