Job summary

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, service standards and daily operations at a Kay Jewelers location. You will help coach a team, manage store priorities and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires strong leadership, retail experience and a commitment to training and development to promote from within where possible.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections, contributing to customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation; recruit and select team members.
