Responsibilities

• Sort donated jewelry, selecting items with precious metals for testing by Jewelry Tester.
• Set aside scrap precious metal pieces for later testing.
• Pair and bag precious metal earrings for processing.
• Identify high-end designer or vintage jewelry for research by management.
• Sort jewelry into lots for sale by the pound.
• Assist with safety training and testing processes as needed.
• Monitor incoming jewelry and notify supervisor of missing bags.
• Ensure Jewelry Tester has sufficient jewelry to test.
