Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE VALLEY WORKS INC is seeking an E-Commerce Jewelry Clerk to process donated jewelry for online sales, inspect and authenticate items, and price them based on market research. You will stage jewelry for photography, write compelling descriptions, and create listings across e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities include quality control, meeting daily quotas, and assisting customers with jewelry inquiries.

• Conducts online research and testing to authenticate jewelry and determine fair market value, vintage status, and brand details.
• Assesses the marketability of items for E-Commerce platforms and retail stores, accurately pricing based on research, guidelines, and market trends.
• Stages jewelry for photography, capturing clear images with detailed descriptions of appearance, condition, and specifications.
• Writes persuasive sales copy highlighting each item's features, trendiness, and value to attract buyers.
• Uses web-based software to list merchandise on E-Commerce platforms, monitoring listings for accuracy and meeting or exceeding daily quotas.
• Tracks and reports on sales trends, inventory status, and donation volumes to support business objectives.
• Assists with customer inquiries related to jewelry listings, providing accurate and helpful information.
• Fulfills customer orders by picking, packing, and shipping inventory, using appropriate packaging materials.
• Completes assigned tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Meets productivity requirements as outlined by management.
• Maintains organized workstations and follows all safety procedures.
• Attends training sessions, meetings, and company-related events as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Adheres to all Goodwill policies and procedures.
