Job summary

Commonform Jewelry is seeking a Production Technician and Showroom Associate to join our hands-on team. You will finish jewelry pieces and contribute to a positive customer experience in the showroom.

We value attention to detail and pride in quality work. This part-time, non-exempt role offers 15–20 hours per week (up to 30 during holiday prep) with evenings (Thu+Fri) and Saturdays required, and a six-month probation.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: raw metal and parts receiving, preparation and organization.
• Soldering: use soldering torch to bond brass and sterling jewelry components.
• Finishing: Pickling, tumbling, antiquing, buffing, polishing compounds, tagging.
• Setting: Set stones into jewelry with precision and care.
• Assembly: Assemble jewelry components including chains and clasps.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished jewelry for defects and imperfections.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and finished products.
• Packaging: Prepare jewelry for shipment, including tagging, packaging, labeling and shipping.
• Errands: Pick up materials and drop off finished pieces.
• Brand Experience Management: Support Commonform's commitment to growth and customer service.
