Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Production Engine Technician to build and test heating equipment powered by advanced jet engine technology. You will work on complete engine systems, perform diagnostics, and contribute to prototype development in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical background, experience with engines or aviation maintenance, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or technical certification in Aviation Maintenance, Powerplant Technology, Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
Professional engine building experience or technical school experience building aircraft, turbine, diesel, racing, or industrial engines strongly preferred.
Manufacturing or production assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble engine and heating units from start to finish per instructions and specs.
Tear down returned engines for inspection and repair.
Inspect components for reuse, repair, or replacement and perform rebuilds.
Assemble mechanical, electrical, and fuel system components to exact specs.
Perform operational testing before and after engine rebuilds; diagnose failures.
Document testing results and provide feedback to Engineering; support continuous improvement.
