Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC seeks a Production Engine Technician to build, test, troubleshoot, and validate heating systems from the ground up. You’ll work on engines and heating units with detailed instructions, collaborating across Engineering, Quality, and Product Development to ensure top performance for critical industries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Aviation Maintenance, Powerplant Technology, Diesel or Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Professional engine building experience or technical school experience building aircraft, turbine, diesel, racing, or industrial engines strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing or production assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build complete engine and heating units from start to finish using detailed work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Tear down returned engines and equipment for inspection and repair.
• Inspect and evaluate engine components for reuse, repair, or replacement.
• Perform engine rebuilds and component replacements.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and fuel system components to exact specifications.
• Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship throughout the build process.
• Perform operational testing before and after engine rebuilds.
• Diagnose engine and equipment failures using mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
• Validate repairs through performance testing.
• Conduct functional testing on complete units and individual components.
