Job summary

RTX Columbus, GA is seeking an Operations mechanic to support Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) across the Pratt & Whitney engine centers. You will perform flight-quality jet engine assembly/disassembly and assist in test operations, adhering to EHS and Quality policies and working closely with team members to meet production schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of aviation mechanic experience or related technical training, a basic understanding of DAT, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years’ aviation mechanic experience or military tech training.
• Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, Test (DAT).
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Work on turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance according to data.
• Utilize hand tools and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test.
• Ensure assembly/disassembly follows work instructions and quality standards.
• Monitor processes to meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
