Job summary

Loyola University Chicago seeks a fully in-person chaplain at the Madonna della Strada Chapel to lead the community in worship and mission integration. Responsibilities include serving as a liaison with the Jesuit community, providing pastoral care, and attending Board meetings.

The position requires a Master’s degree in theology or a related field, and previous ministerial experience is essential. A valid ordination as a Roman Catholic priest is mandatory, preferably as a Jesuit. Salary range is $110,000 to $115,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in theology or a social science-related area.
• Requires two years of ministry experience.
• Must be a priest of the Society of Jesus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chaplain and rector of Madonna della Strada Chapel.
• Participate in leadership team of Division of Mission Integration.
• Provide pastoral outreach and care to students.
