Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor to perform alterations at our store. You will sew, hem jeans and pants, and follow specific guest instructions to ensure high-quality results.

You'll work with Buckle tools and maintain an organized work area, while delivering friendly service to guests in a fast-paced retail environment. Some shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months sewing/alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Measure and mark alteration lines and record alterations.
