Job summary

The Seamstress/Tailor at Buckle supports the company's mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests by performing alterations in-store, including hemming jeans and pants to specification.

Responsibilities include using Buckle's sewing machine, marking and sewing alterations, recording work in the alteration log, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a clean, organized work area and delivering high customer service. Part-time hours may include weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months sewing alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years or older to work with Buckle.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform alterations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested.
• Meet deadlines and guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and record alterations in log.
