Job summary

Newly Weds Foods in Springdale, AR is seeking a Mixer to monitor and adjust batch mixtures to meet company standards during the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). The role requires hands-on operation of mixing processes, reading batch tickets, and ensuring dough quality.

You will support training of new mixers, perform adjustments to water and yeast as needed, and assist in other areas under supervision. A high school diploma or GED and basic HACCP/GMP knowledge are required; company offers comprehensive

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixing processes; read batch tickets and measure ingredients.
• Adjust water and yeast based on temperature/humidity with minimal supervision.
• Monitor dough quality and identify issues; implement necessary adjustments.
• Assist in training new mixer operators and support other areas as directed by supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Ability to perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickers.


• Has the knowledge and ability to make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity, without direct assistance and with minimal supervision.


• Must be able to monitor the dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.


• Assist in training new mixer operators and must stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures.


• Assist in other work areas as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School of GED equivalent required.


• Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge required.
