Job Description

Job Title: JAVA Tech Lead

Location: Exton, PA

Duration: 6 Months with Extension

Rate: $DOE/hr on C2C

This position involves leading and mentoring a team of software developers. It interacts with diverse skill sets from business, technical, testing, and project management teams, both internal and client. Responsibilities include participating in user’s functional requirement studies, collaborating with other teams to create quicker issue resolution, architecting and designing applications, and ensuring quality through design and code reviews. The role may also involve assisting with client implementations, identifying changes, corrections, and enhancements to production applications or customized programs, and managing a small set of technical resources.

Required Experience:

• Experience working with Java, previous management role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Java Software Engineering experience for 8+ years
• Experience with JEE stacks (e.g., Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss)
• Experience with Database Modeling, Deployment, and Tuning
• Ability to design XML Schemas and Web Service WSDL
• Experience with SOA and Integrations
• Experience developing enterprise-level systems with significant complexity

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Banking/Financial Services
• Disciplined programming using TDD (Test First Development)
• Experience maintaining 24x7 deployments
• Experience with IBM Websphere
• Performance tuning of n-tier web applications
• Good experience with web frameworks e.g., AngularJS
• Experience with test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Watij, HP-QTP)
