Job summary

DXC is seeking a Java backend engineer to develop and maintain applications supporting PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention. You will migrate Java 8 to newer runtimes and expand Okta integrations for migration projects.

You will remove Veracode vulnerabilities, contribute to CI/CD practices, and act as a consultant to the team in a fast-paced, in-person collaboration environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Backend Java experience with SOAP/REST.
• Terraform, Ansible or Python automation skills.
• Linux and Bash scripting proficiency.
• Cloud technologies including AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, Maven, Git.
• JUnit/Mockito/Spock/Groovy or similar testing tools.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications to support PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention.
• Migrate Java 8 applications to Java 11/17 and migrate Okta integration.
• Expand Okta integration in Sabre migration project.
• Remove vulnerabilities detected by Veracode.
• Serve as a consultant/advisor on the team.
