Job summary

DXC Technology Services LLC is seeking a skilled Java back-end engineer to develop and maintain applications supporting PCI compliance. You will migrate systems from Java 8 to 11 and 17, and drive SAML2 migration projects while addressing Veracode-reported vulnerabilities.

You will also mentor developers and advise on SDLC processes, with a focus on Linux, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications in support of PCI compliance and vulnerability prevention. Projects include: Expand the integration of Okta in Sabre for migration. Migrate applications from java 8 to 11 and 17. Implement SAML2 migration for Sigle Sigh on. Remove vulnerabilities from application detected in Veracode. Serve as a consultant/advisor for other application developers on the team

Skills needed

• Possess skills in any of the automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python.
• Experience in Java – backend (SOAP, REST).
• Commanding knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with CI&CD (Jenkins, Maven, GIT).
• Junit, Mockito, Spock, Groovy or other testing tools / frameworks.
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle management (Agile/SCRUM methodology).

Compensation

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,400 - $156,800. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
