Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Java SOAP API Developer in Wilmington, DE on a hybrid basis for a 6-12 month contract-to-hire engagement. The project focuses on Card Rewards products with legacy modernization and API-centric backend work.

The role requires 5+ years of Java and SOAP API experience, Spring Framework, and Oracle servers. You will collaborate with product teams, perform end-to-end development and testing, and participate in after-hours rotation for support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java and SOAP API experience; must know Spring Framework.
• REST experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle servers required.

Responsibilities

• Backend systems development with a heavy focus on API endpoints.
• Legacy system modernization while supporting ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with product teams and complete end-to-end development and testing, including UAT coordination.
• Participate in after-hours rotation for product support (6 pm–10 pm), 1–2 times per month.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Java SOAP API Developer.

Position type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6-12 Months

Location: Wilmington, DE Hybrid

Java SOAP API Developer

Project Type: Card Rewards Products - customer rewards points redemption.

Possible CTH, 6-12 months contract.

2 interviews via Zoom.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Backend systems for this. Heavy on API endpoints.
• This system is legacy, working on modernizing.
• Will work with product teams, complete end to end dev and testing, work with UAT team.
• Rotation for product support after hours 6 pm - 10 pm. 1-2 times per month

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years: Need good Java + SOAP API - must Spring Framework-must REST nice to have
• Using private internal cloud platform for CCB (GAP). - nice to have
• Need Oracle Apache servers experience - must
• Working on new project but will be combination of maintenance for legacy and modernization.

Pay Range AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $60 - $70 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
