Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute across the software lifecycle, focusing on building and maintaining scalable web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will work on RESTful services, Kafka messaging, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the SDLC to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes designing and reviewing code, ensuring system stability, and delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java/J2EE technologies and building scalable web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and integrating microservices using REST APIs and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications to maintain stability.
• Conduct code reviews and make changes to the codebase and repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth transitions to new software.
