Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to contribute across the SDLC, including requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, and production support. You will help build scalable web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, code reviews, and creating robust documentation. Travel/relocation may be required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may substitute.
• Experience in Java/J2EE and building scalable web applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks, microservices, REST, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements and guide design discussions for software solutions.
• Contribute to software development including coding and feature integration.
• Perform code reviews, maintain codebases and repositories.
• Develop and implement test strategies and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create training materials and support for new applications.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive improvements.
• Maintain detailed records to aid future projects.
