Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute across the SDLC with a focus on Java Spring Boot and Angular. You will participate in design discussions, implement features, and coordinate bug fixes while maintaining high code quality.

You will also develop training materials and provide production support to ensure reliable systems. The role requires hands-on experience in Java, microservices, OpenShift deployments, and RESTful services, with strong collaboration across

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java/Spring Boot development experience.
• Experience with Angular frontend.
• Experience in Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and web services.
• Experience with Kafka or MQ, and OpenShift deployments.
• Knowledge of JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, and common design patterns.
• Frontend technologies: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Document business requirements and assist design discussions.
• Contribute to software design decisions and guide development teams.
• Code and integrate new features while maintaining stability.
• Perform code reviews and maintain repositories.
• Define test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training materials and support documentation.
• Resolve production issues and improve system reliability.
• Maintain records of code, tests, and support activities.
