Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to the full lifecycle of software development. You will gather requirements, guide design discussions, and implement features in Java/Spring with microservices, APIs, and cloud-native practices.

The role includes code reviews, testing, and knowledge transfer across US and India teams. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on development experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, microservices, and CI/CD, plus familiarity with AWS/Kubernetes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on development skills in Java, Spring, and microservices.
• Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and distributed systems.
• Cloud development with CI/CD
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge sharing.
