Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Java Full Stack Software Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web apps using Java, Angular, microservices, REST APIs, and AI-powered features. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and local presence.

You will work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases, deploy on GCP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software while adopting modern testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building scalable web applications using Java full-stack technologies, microservices, and RESTful APIs (Apigee preferred).
• 3+ years frontend development with Angular.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, chatbots, RAG, and AI APIs.
• 5+ years working with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• GCP experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business use cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Angular, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Analyze requirements and determine technology stacks, deployment strategies, and architecture.
• Develop backend APIs and microservices; create responsive front-end interfaces.
• Work with SQL databases to query, retrieve, and analyze data.
• Develop and enhance AI-powered web applications using LLMs and AI APIs.
• Perform testing (functional, integration, regression) manually and via automation.
• Apply TDD, CI/CD, and best practices in software development.
• Use GitHub or equivalent for version control and collaboration.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and architects.
