Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in the CAD/CAE domain. The role emphasizes Java full‑stack development, Angular UI, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.

The successful candidate will work on requirements analysis, solution design, development, debugging, and testing to deliver high‑quality software using established methodologies. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Java full‑stack development experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years with Angular-based UIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development and deployment (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, GCS).
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with testing (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with Git-based source control.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using diverse tools and technologies.
• Analyze requirements and determine technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.
• Create high‑level software architecture designs for applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product owners and architects.
• Define and implement software testing strategies and processes.
• Improve performance and adopt new technologies to boost development efficiency.
• Apply test‑driven development, CI, and CD practices.
• Support security practices to protect user data.
• Develop user‑friendly interfaces and backend APIs/microservices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze performance issues.
• Test and deploy modules into version‑controlled environments.
