Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in the CAD/CAE domain. The role emphasizes Java full‑stack development, Angular UI, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.

The successful candidate will work on requirements analysis, solution design, development, debugging, and testing to deliver high‑quality software using established methodologies. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Java full‑stack development experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years with Angular-based UIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development and deployment (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, GCS).
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with testing (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with Git-based source control.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications within a CAD/CAE domain. The role requires strong experience in Java full-stack development, Angular, cloud technologies, database development, automation testing, and modern software engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will work on understanding requirements, designing solutions, developing software components, debugging issues, performing testing, and delivering high‑quality solutions using established development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases, challenges, and requirements while supporting user‑focused software solutions.
• Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
• Analyze application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integration approaches, and deployment strategies.
• Create high‑level software architecture designs outlining application structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
• Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes.
• Improve application performance and optimize solutions while implementing new technologies to increase development efficiency.
• Apply software engineering practices including test‑driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Support security practices to protect user data through encryption and anonymization approaches.
• Develop user‑friendly and interactive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain backend applications including APIs and microservices using server‑side technologies.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to enhance software solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis of application and performance issues.
• Test developed components and deploy tested modules into version‑controlled environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience utilizing Java full‑stack development to design scalable web applications.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of experience developing Angular‑based user interfaces.
• Experience with SQL databases including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) development and deployment, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and GCS Bucket.
• Experience developing and working with REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with GitHub or equivalent source control repositories.
• Experience with test‑driven development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Jira.
• Experience with development practices such as TDD/BDD.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with code quality analysis, including static and dynamic code analysis.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with artificial intelligence development.
