Job summary

State Street in Burlington, MA seeks an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead Scrum teams, mentor engineers, and drive software solutions for IBOR/RECON/Wealth Management areas. Qualifications

A minimum of 10-12 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
A minimum of 5 years in financial services developing IBOR, RECON or Wealth Management solutions is strongly desired.
Proven ability to design, review and implement software solutions and manage product backlogs in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead one or more engineering Scrum teams to build and maintain components or products.
Collaborate with Product Owner to design software and manage the functional backlog.
Fulfill the Scrum Master role and foster continuous improvement.
Identify process improvements and new tooling to enhance quality.
Write and review software specifications, proposals, and schedules.
Provide guidance during code reviews and mentor staff.
Advise on complex technical problems and designs.
Monitor progress and ensure product and scheduling objectives are met.
Review and influence testing strategies for product quality.
Develop, test, debug and implement software using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, and other related languages.
