Mindera is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Shopify experience to join a lean, politics-free team. You will mentor the development team, own code end-to-end, and help craft scalable backend services and APIs. The role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and delivering high-quality software.

Requirements include Spring Boot, GraphQL, AWS (DynamoDB), Kafka, OpenTelemetry, and fluent English. Location in Portugal is required, with CET hours, and remote options from Portugal.

• Strong experience as a Senior Java Developer with backend focus.
• Proven hands-on Shopify integration experience in production environments.
• Spring Boot proficiency for scalable services and APIs.
• GraphQL design, development, and maintenance experience.
• AWS expertise including DynamoDB and secrets management.
• Kafka or similar event-streaming experience; asynchronous architectures.
• OpenTelemetry and observability practices for distributed apps.
• Fluent English; based in Portugal; CET hours 08:00-17:00.

Требования

• Strong experience as a Senior Java Developer, with solid knowledge of backend development and experience working on complex, production-level systems.
• Proven hands‑on experience running, maintaining, and troubleshooting Shopify integrations in a production environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, including developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.
• Solid hands‑on experience with GraphQL, including designing, developing, and maintaining GraphQL APIs.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS, ideally including services such as DynamoDB and solutions for secrets management.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event‑streaming technologies, ideally in systems where asynchronous communication and event‑driven architectures are used.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and observability practices, including monitoring and tracing distributed applications.
• Fluency in English; Mandatory to be located in Portugal; Working hours Availability to work 08:00 - 17:00 CET.
