Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Java Developer in Bethesda, MD to work on a complex program with strong Java, cloud, and Agile experience. Primary responsibilities include supporting SDLC, DevOps activities, and delivering critical software in a DevOps/SAFe environment.

Ideal candidate will have 0-2 years through senior experience tiers, familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, and strong communication skills. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 4-8 years of prior relevant software development experience for the Bachelor path, or 2-6 years for the Master's path.
• Experience with Java and software lifecycle in DevOps environments.
• Top Secret clearance with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate, C++.
• Developing and directing software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon
• Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies
• Develop and prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Platforms leveraging infrastructure platform services
• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases
• Analyze and coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs
• Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices
• Use DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting
• Document and deploy build artifacts across environments using GitFlow
• Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion
• Leverage Atlassian JIRA/Confluence to track activities
• Apply best practices and SOPs
• Create innovative solutions to meet client needs.
