Job summary

Aether Biomedical is seeking a software engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of business applications, primarily with Java, and to work with React on modern web interfaces. You will collaborate with an international team to understand needs and deliver reliable software solutions.

You will participate in the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, maintenance and support, while responsibly using AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
• Practical experience building applications.
• Good spoken and written English, enabling day-to-day participation.
• Experience using AI tools to support software development, with critical evaluation of output.
• Proactive communication, sharing ideas and contributing to discussions.
• Willingness to learn and grow while working on real applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and improvement of business applications, mainly using Java.
• Experience with React and modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand needs and support implementation.
• Take part in the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, maintenance and support.
• Help investigate and resolve application issues and improve delivery processes.
• Participate in technical discussions and share ideas with the team.
