Job summary

Dexian is seeking a skilled backend Java developer to design, build, test, and maintain Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs in a banking/finance context.

You will work with Oracle databases, optimize queries, and ensure secure, scalable code. Collaboration with product, QA, DevOps, and architects occurs in an Agile setting.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of enterprise security/authentication mechanisms including OAuth/OIDC, JWT, and API gateways.
• Exposure to containerized or cloud-native deployment environments like Kubernetes or GCP.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, including Elastic, Grafana, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, automated deployment pipelines, and environment configuration.
• Ability to contribute to technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Awareness of regulated environment standards, including auditability, access control, data protection, and change management.
