Job summary

Synstack Technologies in California seeks a Java Backend Engineer with L3 Production Support and WMS/Warehouse + Retail/Supply Chain experience. You will troubleshoot issues at the application/code level, perform RCA, and implement permanent fixes in collaboration with engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, SQL, and on-call production support, plus familiarity with AWS and observability tools.

Qualifications

• L3 Production/Application Support for business-critical apps.
• Hands-on WMS/warehouse/fulfillment systems experience.
• Experience in Retail, eCommerce, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Ops.
• Strong knowledge: Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, SQL, OOP.
• RCA, incident management, and production deployments.
• On-call support experience and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes: inventory, fulfillment, order processing, shipping, receiving.
• Experience with WMS platforms: Manhattan, Blue Yonder/JDA, HighJump, Körber.
• AWS and observability/monitoring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA.
• Implement permanent fixes and production deployments.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Monitor applications and support on-call rotations.
