Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a backend engineer to design and develop scalable Java 11/17+ applications using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud in a microservices environment. You will build RESTful services, integrate with Kafka/RabbitMQ, and design robust data layers with Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, MongoDB and Redis.

Design and develop backend apps using Java 11/17+ with Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Implement secure authentication/authorization with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and Entra ID.
Develop automated tests with JUnit 5, Mockito and Testcontainers.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend applications using Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Utilize event-driven architecture with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Design and optimize databases using Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, MongoDB and Redis.
Ensure secure auth with OAuth2/OIDC/JWT and Entra ID.
Develop automated tests and perform CI/CD in an Agile environment.
