Quantum Technologies. LLC is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design and develop backend applications using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. You will build and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, while leveraging the NetCracker Platform to implement business rules.

The role includes Kafka/RabbitMQ event-driven development and securing services with OAuth2/OIDC/JWT. Responsibilities encompass database design with Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, MongoDB, and Redis;

Qualifications

• Design and develop backend applications using Java 11/17+
• Build microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Work with the NetCracker Platform and implement business rules using Drools or equivalent rules engines
• Develop event-driven applications using Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Design, optimize, and maintain Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Develop automated tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers, and contract testing
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance
• Follow secure coding practices, CI/CD standards, and Agile methodologies
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Claude API where applicable
